Robert L. Chaplin is a local professional fine art nature photographer who also specializes in photographic workshop expeditions into the Everglades and natural South Florida. He is a South Florida native with an intimate knowledge of the Everglades and surrounding areas, and holds a Commercial Use Authorization for Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve.
He has written articles and provided photography for Coastal Angler Magazine, written articles about Everglades National Park for South Dade News Leader. His photography can also be frequently found in the South Dade News Leader.
As Robert starts his fifth year as a group leader for The Nature Workshops, his continual goal is to help each member of his group to develop, or expand on, their own style of nature photography. The days will be sunrise to moonrise long, with time taken out during the middle of the day to rest, review images, or further discuss photographic techniques.
Whether he is instructing the novice or intermediate photographer, his interactive teaching style makes his workshops productive and enjoyable.
